When we look at the music industry today, it’s all positives from the international collaborations to the global music deals, brand endorsements and international music charts among other things.
The movie industry popularly called Nollywood is also not left out, theirs is at a flourishing point in our nation’s history even though the music industry maintains pole position at the end of the day.
As we celebrate the achievements of Nigerian entertainment which is one of the continent’s fastest growing industries, we take out some time today to spotlight 20 ladies whose contributions directly or indirectly have helped build our local entertainment industry, helping it record critically acclaimed renown, financial benefits and goodwill.
This list is about 20 single ladies who have pervasive influence in the Nigerian media, fashion, music and movie industries and have contributed tangibly to growing mainstream entertainment and pop culture in Nigeria.
